Our Story
Mac's Coney Island opened its doors in 1955 — long before Shelby Township had shopping malls, before the highways multiplied, before most of the people who walk through our door were born.
We're not a franchise. We're not trying to be anything other than what we've always been: a counter, a grill, and a community that stopped by for coffee and conversation long before that became a rare thing.
The coney sauce still comes from the same recipe. The fries are still hand-cut. The coffee is still poured before you finish your last thought. Some things don't need to change — they just need to stay.
